Hello everyone!
…. it looks like there might be a gallery exhibit for March in the works. Once we have confirmed a schedule, we’ll be posting it!
Until then… here’s Alex from Portland.

So after our extended hiatus, we’re trying to get back in gear! There is a laundry list that stretches out the door of things that need done, but we’re slowly chugging away at it. Thank you for your patience.
So hopefully you will be seeing more from us in the coming months and maybe even a few super awesome announcements!
I was in Portland for a few days and had a great time. The guys there showed so much support, hospitality and open arms.
I went to the Japanese Gardens for one of the afternoons, which proved to be gorgeous and calming. We went to an art gallery, antique shop, a few bars, back-yard bon fire and queer stand-up comedy.
I also spent a lot of time at the Red & Black Cafe. The food and coffee were awesome and I highly recommend people checking it out if you haven’t already!
I would like to personally thank Tiger, Carly, Jay and Wyatt for opening your homes, dogs, lives and friends to me while I was there.
Before coming to San Francisco this afternoon, I’ve never been here before and didn’t know what to expect. With only a few hours into my adventure, I can tell I’m gonna have a great time.
I first stopped at the SFMOMA and I’m very grateful I did. After seeing originals from the likes of Eddie Adams, Nik Ut, Nan Goldin, Mapplethorpe, Frida, Dali, Duchamp, Muybridge and Richard Avedon, I’m leaving filled with inspiration, high emotions, clear head and a full heart, I’m ready for tomorrow!
TOMORROW! If anyone would like to meet to chat or have your portrait taken for the Project, please stop by the Rancho Parnassus in SOMA at 505 Minna St. (Friday, March 11, 12pm-7pm) Reschedules for March 12 are limited, so please contact me asap if needed.
Seattle was rainy, fun and welcoming!
It’s very true that every 15 minutes the weather changes.
We got to see a lot of fun things and meet some great people. Another trip to Seattle is definitely needed in the future.
Now to explore Portland!
Maureen, the Project’s visual designer, and I will be traveling out West! From March 3-14, we will be Seattle, Portland and San Francisco taking in the sights and meeting up with people. We will be dedicating a whole day in each city to meeting people. If you are not able to come during these days and time slots, but would like to be involved, please email me directly and we will try to set something up.
While we are frolicking around the west coast, we will be posting daily blogs, Tweets and Facebook updates. So be sure to check those out as well as new photos!
We are also hard at work creating a new website design/layout. It will be more user friendly, interactive, a bigger and better display of the portraits (and possibly secret pages for those who get photographed!)
Here is a break down of our agenda. If anyone would like to come talk over coffee and/or have your portrait taken for the Project, here is your chance! Go to the cafe’s website for directions or further information.
